   Tsukiji fishmarket is the largest wholesale fishmarket in the world. It is presently located on the western edge of Tokyo Bay, however the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has announced its intention to move the market east to Toyosu. The plan is highly controversial, not least because the Toyosu site is said to be contaminated.
